With us this works great because I don’t really care, but I could see it turning into an argument between a couple of kids playing together. The main game play seems a little bit too basic to be very entertaining to me, but in a game designed for young children I would be concerned if it wasn’t.

They do a nice job of making sure that both players have to be involved in collecting additional parts to make more defenses, though it’s entirely possible for one player to be the only one who ever gets to build anything. It was easy to get into a game together, and it basically consists of putting up little toy structures that try to defend a path (to a home base) from ‘invading’ toys. I figured it would be a great chance to review something that I already knew that kids really like (he’s 7), and he and I would have a game that we would be able to use on multiplayer as well. Most of my play time with the game has been on the multiplayer option with him. I agreed to accept a review copy of this game partly because my nephew already has it and I know that he loves it.
